Thank you to everyone who participated in the second annual International Read Comics in Public Day.

There is something very sweet and heartening and peaceful about seeing people outdoors reading their favorite books. It’s a real pleasure each year to discover what folks are reading — and where — all over the world.

Thank you to all the news outlets that helped us spread the word. From Wired Magazine to the Huffington Post to Pop Candy and Comics Alliance plus many others, you help keep this thing rolling.

Thanks to all the comic shops, groups and libraries who organized special events.

And thanks to all the great cartoonists and publishers who give us a place to learn, enjoy and escape.

If you haven’t yet shared your photos with us on Flickr, please do. Keep them pouring in all year long.
